Mr. Beckman has 35 years of experience in the field of blood transfusion, having worked in Europe and Asia/Pacific. Previous roles include National Lead Specialist in Quality Monitoring for NHSBT in England, National Quality Control Manager for the Australian Red Cross Blood Service and Euro.

Bloodpack Collaborative Procurement Project Manager for the European Blood Alliance.

Mr. Beckman is involved in research groups, expert groups and guidelines setting committees include the BEST Collaborative, the UK Standing Advisory Committee on Blood Components (SACBC), The Australian National Blood Transfusion Committee and the ISBT Working Group on Blood Supply Management.

Mr. Beckman has published on Quality Control and monitoring, inventory control and error and fault monitoring and is currently working as a consultant.
